I have a Firestorm that I am working on. Bike runs 100% but I am having trouble with reconnecting the petrol tank.
The pic is taken from underneath the tank and the airbox is(obviously) removed.
When I open the petcock(yellow circle) fuel runs along the yellow arrows to each cylinder.
Problem is that when you start the bike Fuel comes gushing out the pipes at the blue circle.
I have heard these are the bikes overflow pipes?? The gushing stops the moment i close the petcock again.
I put the tank on exactly how i took it off(i think) and me and a friend spent a lot of time last night on this but many many liters of fuel and beer later we just cant figure it out. ??? ???
I am no boffin AT ALL so im hoping the solution is something like: "no man! put that pypie there!"
