Honda XR650R
Right, it's time to sell the toy. All my riding buddies buggered off to the Netherlands and I don't ride dirt any more (don't judge!  >:D).
So, here are the specs:
Make: Honda
Model: XR 650 R
Year: 2001
Mileage: +- 20 000 km (see below about vapor)
Condition: Mechanically sound, visually sound, aurally sound. She's a piggy so takes a while to fire up when she's cold but once warmed up, it's always one kick to fire her up.
Area: Durbanville, Western Cape
Extras
- Precision Concepts 10.2 kg/mm rear spring
- Warp9 Silicone hose kit - Red.
- Oil sight tube
- new chain slider
- ProTaper Contour CR-Hi fat bars
- Aftermarket switches
- New small mirrors
- XR's Only Black side panels with breather cutout (original white panels included)
- KTM Black front fender (not fitted, original red fitted)
- Acerbis black Supermoto Evo front fender
- Aluminium rear rack (not currently mounted)
- New clutch springs with extra clutch plate
- Extra Barnett Dirt Digger clutch kit
- Aftermarket black headlight
- UNI air filter + oil
- Sprockets: Front 14T+15T, Rear: 45T offroad, 44T motard
- IMS Pro Series footpegs
- Pretty new X-ring chain (was about R1000)
- Just had cam chain and tensioners replaced.

I had a CRF front end on but sold it and put the original fork back. I still have the motard wheels if anyone's interested.

What's wrong with it:
- Clutch is seriously stiff, I'd recommend replacing the springs with OEM
- Vapor computer picked up moisture and destroyed itself from the inside out. Still there and plumbed but it doesn't work.

The bike is licensed, on the road and in my name.

I'll post more pics when I get her back from Dux, who's putting in the new cam chain.

Cheers!
Werner
