How to remove Road Tar from your bike?

Quick Question. Does anyone know how to remove tar from your bike?

On a ride at Marisburg, somewhere between the Dunes and uncle Harry's the scorching heat and humidity somehow softened the Tar on one of the crossing sections and has lodged itself on the engine, just above my chain and sprocket. can ANYONE please give me advise as to how to get this off?
