Hi all,
Joined the sight a couple of days ago, stumbled onto it by chance through reading a thread, on another site, by MJ (Metaljockey) about their Angola trip. Awsome stuff!!
About myself: I'm into Thumpers mainly. Owned a couple of XT500's over the last couple of years. Still have one of them, but the old back started to protest a bit so I recently bought a 2006 Dakar. Wasn't all that impressed with the bike at first, but its slowly starting to grow on me. I'm married and have 2 boys aged 1year 1 month.
Mental state: Very frustrated (for obvious reasons....) Do not suffer from bikelessness, rather bikeridelessness

I see there are a couple of EC riders on the forum. Maybe it would be possible to join some of you chaps or anyone else for that matter on some trips in future?
