Howzit everyone!
After much lurking, eventually decided to 'do the proper thing', as they say and become a member.
Been riding since I was 5, which is far too many years back on an Itom.
Rode some offroad (remember the Bapsfontein Grand Prix?), and flattrack on old chopped XT's.
Most memorable 'adventure' ride. 2 of us on XT500's with Malcolm Smith tanks & Super Trapp zorts from Joey's to Mombassa and back in 1980.
Even meddled on 3 wheels on those crazy Aussie side-cars. After crashing those too many times turned to road only.
Been fortunate in life to ride dozens of different bikes, and owned quite a few.
Current rides:
Ducati Diavel (mid life crisis !)
Kawasaki GTR1400 (showing my age, also keeps lady happy on long hauls)
Kawasaki ZRX1200 (memories of Eddie Lawson replica)
Kawasaki KDX200 (This thing refuses to die, not matter what I've done to it over many years)
Honda XR400 (Starting to look tatty)
Contemplating an adventure bike now, but limited in choice due to fact that I'm, err, vertically challenged.
Seen some familiar names and avatars here, looking forward to the ride!
