It's with great sadness that I am selling my beloved HP. times have changed and it's time to sell.
The Bike:
2006 HP2 Enduro
18600km on the clock
Rear shock has hardly been used, it maybe has 1000km on it, I used Ohlins suspension the rest of the time
Front Forks have been professionally revalved
GS accessory's 2 finger levers - originals included
exhaust headers have been gutted and catalytic converter removed
Silencer has hardly been used, I used Akropovics
Bashplate conveyer belt Mod has been done.
Touratech indicators - rear fitted, front spare
Full service history available from Northside BMW
Faults:
There's a hole in the front mudguard, check photo's below
The HP2 logo on the right hand side of the seat has gone muggy brown from petrol dripping on it while the bike was stored - see picture
The diff is slightly discoloured by the same dripping.
The display keeps showing a warning for LampF which is a headlight error, yet all the lights work perfectly.
The Story:
I bought the bike with 2000km on the clock, I rode it only occasionally as I had a 1200 adventure and an 1150 adventure to do long trips with. In 2009 I started mountain biking again and the HP was put into storage, there it has stayed until 3 days ago, I replaced the battery, gave it a wash and viola, it still goes like a bomb! I have moved to Hoedspruit and therefore am not able to sell the bike myself here, the bike is at Green Dot cars in Randburg, 63 Rabie street. if you wish to view it.
