IMS plastic tank leaking @ neck

Did my first longer distance shake down on my DRZ and noticed that there is a thin crack at the neck of the tank (where the cap screws onto the tank) which allows fuel to get out when the tank is close to full.

How can I repair this, both temporarily and permanently? I was thinking for temporary would pratley's plastic weld do the job or a epoxy?
