Took a quick ride out to where I grew up...
Cursory stop at the rail bridge crossing the Tierpoort river, downstream from the dam.
Then onward to the pass, the name used to be just after the steep incline warning. @Hollywood
Then I decided to pop around to the farm Avondale where I spent the first years of my life till moving to Bloem in Std 5
The road to the farmhouse looked rather muddy... so next time when I am not alone.
Then I returned via The Tierpoort Road, as marked on Googlemaps. My first time and quite a delight to ride... some sections real dirt highway.
