I was taking the Boucherds Quarry on ramp onto the N2 recently during rush hour traffic. Traffiic was at a stand still. I was passing the cars on the right, only crossing the white line to pass the occasional line hugger. Got pulled over just short of the intersection by an extremely youmg Metro Police officer. She checked my licence and then issued me with a R500 fine for driving on the shoulder of the road. I am very interested if anyone has insight or knowledge about the validity of this fine.
