I finally got to show my wife the country I have been raving about for years. Without a doubt the best way to experience this amazing country is from the saddle – the summer crops are being harvested and winter green feed being planted.

Our reception by the people throughout was fantastic and we made the classic mistake of planning to travel too far for the conditions but nothing that a last minute change of plan couldn’t sort out.

We entered at Monantse, traveled through Mokhotlong and out at Sani – not originally planned but still an amazing trip.
