If I am reading the website correctly, the organizers have decided to move away from the "Mass Ride" concept. They say because the participants have complained about Sweaty Leathers, Sudden Breaking, Overheating Engines and Marshall Difficulties, poor diddums (WTF). In our opinion (Pillionpup & myself) the only thing it had going for it was the "Mass Ride". The excitement of riding in the roar of tens of thousands of bikes, and a few stray cars was hard to equal. Now it seems, no more start venues, only the end venue. As others have said: It is the ride not the destination. We will not be participating any more.
