Well, after much deliberation and convincing myself first not to sell, and then being convinced by a family member to go ahead and take the plunge... I've decided that the trusty steed has to go, to make space for a new one.

I'm sad to let it go - but my heart yearns for a new KLR. It has been an extremely reliable and economical commuter, carried me to, up, down and back from Sani pass without the slightest hitch. It appears in a couple of ride reports on this forum, so I will make no bones about what it's been used for, mechanically it is tip-top, but aesthetically it has a bit of character.
I would be happy if I got R 20 000 for it... even if I have to arrange a couple of things to sweeten the deal, but make an offer and we'll chat... PM me.
I'll post some photos in the morning.
