Wat 'n lekker trippie. Eerstens baie dankie aan almal wat die uitstappie met ons gemaak het en veral vir Skaapkop vir jou uitstekende reelings!! Ek go almal sal saamstem dat dit besonder lekker was.
We left the Co-Op in Kirkwood yesterday morning and stopped at Kleinpoort for something to nibble on and others to quench their thirsts.
From there the adventures took the gravel roads via Springbokvlakte to Steytlerville while the road bikes hit the tar to the Royal Hotel. The idea was to watch the Bokke at the hotel but when travelling with Skaapkop, it always becomes interesting as his back up bike was loosing parts at regular intervals and when necessary we stopped to "mend" his bike.
Na die 'Toets" is die pad fietse en 'n paar ander terug Wolwefontein toe, en daarna Jansenville om tot in Klipplaat. Die ander is Fullarton om tot in Klipplaat.
Daar aangekom is Vis Arend, Mev Vis Arend, Tolbos, Hotwire en later Knucklehead ook daar om die aand saam met ons te geniet - en het almal dit geniet nie!!!
There were regular servings of cheese grillers and Karoo Prawns just to help line the stomach's. After the rugby all were issued with their "KLIPPLAAT TOER 2013" T-shirts and each had to celebrate this with a small toast.
Later die aand was die ete 'n afval pot
ot: en die wat nie geweet het wat lekker was, was daar dan ook vir hulle 'n hoenderpot.
At this time there was music playing and some of the male dogs en had a small "lang-arm" session :imaposer:eepwall:
All I can say is that for R120-00 per person, nowhere is the world will you get a nights rest (for some), food and a T-shirt included together with a great bunch of friends.
