Life has moved on and I'm just not getting the time to ride and enjoy my bike any more, which means she is getting neglected. So it's time to pass her on to someone who will enjoy her again.
Bit of history.
I got the bike from a friend a few years ago and decided to do a full restore. Over the period of a year I stripped her down into pieces and painstakingly redid each and every part. It was a bucket-list kind of thing for me.
- rims, shocks, subframe, frame, etc - all perfectly powder coated
- stainless steel spokes fitted
- new headstock bearing
- Ricor intiminator + progressive spring fitted to front shock (makes the ride so much better),
- Ricor racing rear shock fitted - soaks up the bumps like a beast
- Eagle Mike doohickey fitted
- Aerotrim and front visor fitted - makes long trips easy
- Powerflow exhaust - awesome sound and extra pip
- Recoated plastics
- New timing chain
- Seat redone - lowered and broadened
- subframe re-greased
I've ridden her for a few years since I rebuilt her, no issues (other than cooking the stator because I had too much power going to new headlights, new stator installed)
Comes with a box of spares + extra rear shock + front shock springs
She's a great bike.
