Two KLR engines for sale - 1 ready for assembly , 1 needs some minor parts:
Complete 2005 KLR 650 motor for sale, everything in good condition, even includes starter. The following parts are brand new - got all receipts (paid around 8k just for this):
1mm Oversize Piston from Kawasaki - barrel still needs to be re-bored
LH Main Bearing (Roller bearing) - bearing still needs to be fitted (PN 92116-1064)
(quote on re-bore and bearing fitment from Motor Masters (bellvile) was R300)
Mechanical Water seal Complete gasket kit Valve rebuild kit (Valve stem seals etc)
I also have a spare 650 crank + conrod imported via Ebay - included.
I have a semi complete KLR 600 engine (Electric start model): Cases, barrel, Piston, Crank, gearbox, etc..
Needs head and LH Main bearing - which I'm including as per above (650)
I also got a quote for assembly on the KLR 650 engine from a reputable KLR specialist - Cost R3 000 Take both engine for R7 000 - onco Or only one for R4 000
**Reason for selling - due to time constraint and interest being lost in rebuilding and bought another complete engine**
