Hi

Im a superbike rider thinking of buying an on/off/adventure bike, The KLR looks interesting to me, Cheap to buy, seems capable on paper, strong and dead easy to maintain which at the end of the day is what makes it fun.
What I wan to know (hopefully from current/ex  KLR owners)

1.) I weigh 92kg and im 6"3, Will the KLR be too small????is a high rise screen advisable?
2.) Is it capable to ride on the highway comfortably at 130-140-150?
3.) Two up?, My 65kg girlfriend and I together. ? can expect it to be dead slow with both of us, incapable off road?
4.) Is it crazy or pretty normal to say that I would attempt 2-3 day 1000km+ plus trips on the bike?

I aim to do adventure riding, long-medium distance, check the country out sort of thing. Been doing it a bit on the superbike but dont get to see much when you got all that power under you.

Seems that buying a 2nd hand KLR is the way to go, Should i wait until i find a 2007/2008(new shape) to buy? big difference between the two?
