In case you own a KLR and missed the shock removal thread ...and wondered about the rear spring, which is designed for a 70kg Japanese person .... below is a graph that shows the rear sag, measured in mm from full extension, with stock spring (6.5kg/mm) , vs one from Top Gun, that is a little beefier , ( 7.7 kg/mm ) , at three preload settings , with and without my 86kg of middle aged lard on the seat.
