I noticed a little oil on the seal of my KTM 500's radiator cap. I was told that it was residue from a recent water pump seal replacement by the previous owner.
Yesterday, I went for a short ride, mildly demanding in a few places, but not really technical at all, and the bike boiled. I decided to flush the radiator to get rid of the residue oil, but on draining the water pump, I was horrified to see thick oily sludge coming out.
Could it be that the seal has gone again, or is it being caused something more serious?
