KTM 690R Enduro - Operating Temperature

Any other owners of the KTM 690R Enduro out there - Just a question: Is it normal for this machine's radiator fan to kick in so soon? What it is, is that the radiator fan is running most of the time so it seems to me that the engine is running fairly warm nearly all the time.

Even on cloudy cool days this is the case.

Is this normal? (Yes their is enough cooling liquid in the system and no obstructions to the radiator)
