My arse is itching for something different and the 990 has always sparked some interest. I'm really short so leaning towards the normal Adventure and not the R or the S.
Google says there is a power difference between the two, is that correct, is it a deal breaker? If there is a massive power difference is it better getting the R and lowering the seat? Can you flash the normal ADV to the same power as the R?
ABS is a non issue for me, I take it easy on road and prefer it switched off when on dirt.
Anything to consider / look out for when buying a used 990?
