If you endulge in a little water sports on you 950 ADV beware the dreaded pump pop!
although the std KTM pump is phenominal in design and operation it is a tad costly to replace and you can expect a 2 - 3 week waiting period.
I replaced mine with a "facet" pump from Midas, R185 + -, it works well but I have found that it can flood the system. so Im left turning off the fuel tap each time I stop, not ideal!
QUESTION?? will setting the float levels rectify this or will the pump push past the needle and seat?
