I am from RSA but live in London now. Just got my suspension finished and very happy with it.
I wanted ABS with all the wet weather here but also wanted the travel of the 990S. Problem with the
990S is that spring and valving in fork is crap. The solution was to buy the 990ABS and raise the suspension
front and rear to 265mm, revalve and use .59 spring from SE on fork. The fork is now like it should be,
no diving and great on dirt and I have ABS on the road. Fitted Akrapovics, handlebar risers and fastway footpegs.
Riding bike from London to Cape Town next year after a few trips to Marocco. Hope to catch up with you guys when
