Steering Damper Piston Type.
I looked all over the internet to see if anyone had fitted a piston type damper to their Adventure 990 KTM, but found nothing. The reason for me adding this post is that a piston damper is very cheap in comparison to the Scotts or the Ohlins block type dampers. Here in South Africa the piston type is 1500 Rand and the Scotts or Ohlins is about 8500 Rand. So I think you can see where I am going with this.
The 990 Adventure is very limited for space when it comes to fitting anything around the front of the bike. I am attaching pics of the completed fitment. I hope this can help someone out there................
