My KTM 990 Adventure is for sale.
It was bought late 2009 & registered in 2010. It has a little over 4000km on the odo which is the reason I am selling it i.e. I never ride it and prefer my 690r. As you will see from the picture the bike is virtually new and has never been crashed or even dropped (probably the only bike I have never dropped!).

• Carbon long range fuel tanks (paid about ~R13.5k for these at the time)
• Akrapovic pipes (paid about ~R17k for these at the time)
• Akrapovic pipe carbon pipe ends (paid about ~R4k for these)
• Akrapovic carbon pipe heat guard (paid ~R3.6k). This sits under side fairing.
• Carbon tail piece heat protection set (paid ~R1.2k)
• Carbon clutch casing cover (paid ~R1.3k)
• Carbon ignition cover (paid ~R1.4k)
• Radiator protector (paid ~R1k)
• Carbon lower fairing guards (paid about ~R3.5k)
• HID headlight conversion kit (paid about ~R3k)
• Orange front headlight cover (paid ~R500)
• Crash bars (painted KTM orange) (paid ~R3.6k)
• Front suspension upgrade (stiffer – I can give details on which stiffness springs). (Paid about ~R3k)
• WP fork stickers (no charge

• Acerbis hand guards (paid ~R1k)
• Garmin zumo 550 bracket. Unit exchanged for 660 when faulty so not avail.
• KTM orange original brake master cylinder cover (~R500)
• KTM orange rim tape (~R250)
• Scott grips (wired) with KTM grip rings (~R100)
• KTM tail plate (for top box) (can’t remember cost)
• Original clutch never used and in its box (see below I installed the Rekluse clutch)

• Only ever been on 2 short dirt rides (most of mileage was riding to work any back!). Rallye Raid stickers are from my ex-640
• 1000km service at proaction
• ~4000km service at ultimate performance
• Fuel pump upgrade done at ultimate performance
The total cost of the above extras was ~R60k.

• Scott damper (happy to move this to my 690) (paid ~R7k)
• Top boxes (2 types) (paid around R5k each). One is the KTM power parts grey top box. Other is a black aluminium SW Motech
• KTM original fork bleeders (R200)
• KTM original valve caps (R350)
• Airtime foot pegs (R800)
• KTM 690 mirror set (~R750)
• Rekcluse LC8 auto clutch (R8k). Installed. I will remove and have original clutch installed at my cost.
• Brand new sub frame (~R3.5k).
My price for the bike excluding the optional extras is R150k (so around R120k for the bike and R30k for the extras...). Talk to me if you are seriously interested. There is no finance owing on the bike.
