I have a KTM 600 cc LC4 that I am slowly busy renovating.
I don't have time to work on the bike as I joined a new company a while ago and work fairly long hours.
bike has just over 20000 (if i recall correctly) on the clock.
with a long range tank the tank had very bad white paint painted over the plastic, I did sand this down but will need some more work.
I it registered the bike and I mainly used it to commute to Gautrain.
What has been done is head gasket has been replaced by runner.
what needs to be done:
- carb setting as it has a flat spot. I did import new jets from UK for this Dellorto (sorry spelling) carb I have a 160 and 170 main jet included for fitment.
- new battery
- I would replace the voltage regulator as it over charges the battery. was quoted R800
- rear fender needs replacement. This was on the to do. ( i have a www that can supply with integrated brake tail light)
it is a 1992 model build as per VIN nr.
buyer would need do do a roadworthy but will need to be done in any case.
I am looking at R13000.00 for the bike as is.
