Hey!!
Got a question regarding the KTM dash computer on the KTM 690 Enduro. It seems this speedo is more accurate than most other brands. I found it to be around 2.5% out at 120km/h. Thats pretty neat. So there is no need to buy a super expensive rally trip-master. That is, if one could do the following:
Thanks!

- Extend the wiring so the computer can sit eye-level, basically top of the rally road-book holder. As looking down to your handle-bar takes 3 seconds, doing 120km/h on a rail service road might cause some unplanned flying. One can see the roadbook easy from a standing position, but not your speed/ trip-meter. Both which is crucial for rally navigation. Can one readily buy the male/ female connections for the wiring harness?
- Google indicates that something called the tripmaster was at some time manufactured to control/ reset/ switch the trip/ odo on the computer. This has apparently been discontinued. It is also apparent that one can build a remote unit to control the computer trip computer, etc. Have any of you tried this?
