We have planned 3 rides, all starting and ending at Blue Haze, 3 minutes off the N3 near Estcourt. For pics, co-ordinates and directions check out www.bluehaze.co.za. Nearby B+Bs and camping available. Join us for a day ride if you like. Gps track available soon.
Route 1 Kamberg+Notties round trip:
+- 210km and 2.5 to 3 hours excl stops / lunch.
70% scenic,twisty tar, 25% green and 5% orange.
The orange and half the green has a tar alternative.
Route 2, Zingela Camp+Colenso (bushveld) trip :
+- 180 km and 4 to 4.5 hours.
Around 20% tar,20% orange and balance green. No soft alternatives.
Route 3: 3 Berg Passes ( up Collings pass and across Debeer's and down Middeldale pass).
+- 300km and around 5 hours excl stops/ lunch.
About5% orange, 60% green and balance tar.
All routes very scenic, not many cars.
Groups of 5 or6 will leave from 08h00 each morning.
Estimate +- 40 bikes.
Please choose which routes in your order of preference as we will do the most popular on saturday, the next on friday and least poular on sunday.
