5th Annual Off-Road Toy Run
To whom it may concern;
Outriders is a social dirtbike club that was formed in early 2005. The idea behind the club was to get like minded people together to do social rides, tours, etc. We currently have just over 130 people on our mailing list. We have recently had a couple of businesses in the trade come on board with the club and offer us loyalty programs for the members.  Thanks to Gear-Up, ccGallery, RBS Yamaha, Honda Pinetown and NS Racing.
Four years ago we decided to host an off-road toy run.  The goal was to give something back to the local community in the Mariannhill area which is frequented by weekend social riders. It was a great success and has grown over the last three years to having over a 100 dirtbikes attending. Last year we took on Malvern Children’s Home as a benefactor as well as giving some sweetie hand-outs to the local community.
This year we are planning to do the same for Malvern Children’s home who have no government subsidies and rely solely on donations to keep themselves afloat, as well as hand out sweeties and the odd toy along the ride.
The run will take place on the 03rd of December 2011 and will be hosted by VMacs Roadhouse at 97 Goodwood Rd. in Westmead. There will be an outride for dirt and tour bikes with registration from 07:00 to 08:30 and the ride starting at 9:00 am going out into the Mariannhill area. The routes will be marked and have marshals along the way to offer assistance. After the ride there will be a braai with a lucky draw prize giving as thanks to the riders.  VMacs will also be putting on a great party with a live band, jumping castles etc, to end the year off.
Pre-entries are required and will be collected at Gear-Up and ccGallery in Umhlanga and RBS Yamaha and Honda Pinetown. Entries are R150.00 per person and this will include a T-Shirt and a braai-pack with some pap etc. for after the ride. The balance of the monies will be going to the children’s home. Each rider is welcome to bring along some sweeties etc. to hand out while on the ride.
Sponsors wishing to get involved with donations either towards the children’s home or for some “give-away” prizes for the riders please contact the below.
All sponsors will have there logos printed on the shirts and will be able to have a display at the venue.
