Myself , (Spoons aka Bushcat) & Craig aka 777, are planning a ride on Sunday.
We plan on leaving the Shell Garage in St Johns Ave Pinetown at about 7am, head through Westmead, through to Cato along the railway line, through the old reserve & along the Pipeline to Idube, through back end of Ashburton to my oldmans place Amble Inn at Albert falls, have a bite to eat & something cold to drink :ricky:
From Amble Inn we can discuss a routeback, preferably via dirt.
Our group normally consists of a couple of XR 650's, & a couple of KTM 690's, with the odd 'Durban Bowser' aka Trevor on his KTM 950 se.
As for skills level, how long is a piece of string?
Some nice D roads,
some nice water crossings,
some nice hill climbs,
some nice rocky sections,
Some kak D roads,
some kak water crossings,
some kak hill climbs,
some kak rocky sections.
Some places I wouldn't take a bmx or trials bike, if I could ride either,
& yet some dawgs take their 950 se's or GS1200's!!
Can I be more more descriptive?
Lastly, I sure as shit aint trail bossing, this is going to be a ride where we go with open minds, & like minded riders!
Beer & coke stops are a definate, not a quick squirt in the dirt, a lekker day with like minded riders!!
