LAB2V Prep

There is a local event called the LA Barstow to Vegas or LAB2V ride that happens every fourth Friday and Saturday in November.  It's a two day event that covers about 500 miles.  Day 1 is from Palmdale to Barstow and Day 2 is from Barstow to Vegas.  It used to be an open desert race but the enviros shut that down.  Now it's just a fun ride with no classes or prizes for first or whatever.  I did the even a few years ago and it was a blast.  Very long.  They have a dual sport route complete with deep sand and a hundred or so miles of whoops as well as an adventure bike course that is more fire roads, two track, some easy single track and maybe 20 miles of sand washes here and there.

This year's ride will take place this Friday and Saturday, November 28 and 29.  A few guys are in from out of town and wanted a prep ride, so I put one together last Thursday and Saturday.
