Lake Tour

In one month a couple of us are leaving. 2.5 weeks

1)JHB to Lion and Elephant. 600 kms and Beit Bridge border post.
2)Heaven Lodge. Chimanimani Mountains. Great ride. 450 km
3)Nyanga. Easy ride of 300kms . Bvumba( Leopard Rock Hotel etc. ) Mellow day.
4)Ugezi Tiger Lodge. Caborra Bassa. 480 km.
5)Monkey Bay (Gecko Lounge at Cape Maclear Lake Malawi)
6)Salima. Red Zebra Lodge. Lake Malawi
7)Nkhata Bay. Big Blue. Lake Malawi
8)Real ride begins now. North to Khondowe ( Chilamba. Chiweta.)by tar. This tar pass is spectacular. From there due west to Livingstonia on the Nyika Plateau. Seems to make the run to Die Hel like girls school. 180 on tar and then dirt to Livinstonia. From there South to Rhumpi and Lake Kazuni and about Eutini.
9)Eutini to Chipata. 450. Tar. Border post into Zambia.
10A) Long pull. Straight to Kariba at 750 kms .
11) Kariba. Say no more. Attempting a house boat to stay on. Next day is an off day so will go to Spurwing Island for lunch.
12) Off-road to Binga.  300 kms. All dirt. Who knows
14) Vic Falls. 280 kms. easy dirt road. Maybe a detour to Batoka Gorge.
15) Bulawayo. 440 km
16) JHB. Via Beit Bridge or through Botswana.
