I have a Extra 300s Radio controlled plane that I would like to swap for a classic type bike. 2m wingspan. The Extra is a Patty Wagstaff replica. It's fully built but has never flown. New 50cc DA Engine (needs to run in still), HiTec and JR digital servo's all around. JR Multibox, 1700ma servo battery, 1400ma ignition battery. All hardware included. The plane has been built with a lot of care and has had carbon fibre reinforcing in strategic areas.
Value of the airplane is roughly R8000.00 (probably cost between 12-15k to build new). Cash adjustment negotiable.
I want to build a cafe racer so I am looking for a donor bike. The bike can be cosmetically tatty but must be mechanically sound. Any of the following models will do:
Yamaha XS400, XS650 (pre 1981, parallel twins) (I will pay in substantial amounts for an XS650)
Honda CB350, CB400, CB450 (pre 1979, parallel twins)
BMW R65, R75, R80, R90, R100 (most models)
Suzuki gs400, gs450 (pre 1979, parallel twins)
Yamaha SR500 (any model) but not an XT500 (Single)
Kawasaki KZ400 (Pre 1980)
Kawasaki W650
No four cylinders please.
