Will avoid the really rough stuff to match our combined experience levels and the bikes (700 TransAlp, 600 TransAlp, my XChallenge and unknown other)

1st question - do we hightail it straight to Elliot side in 2 days and have an extra day available that side, or spend 3 days enjoying some good gravel on the way there?
