Further tests has been done on the sand riding abilities of the BMW F800GS ‘Lewensgevaarlike’ motorcycle
(unfortunately no instructors were present at the time so these tests can not be verified or proven)
Refer to the attached picture. Only two makes of bikes were used in this test.
The hat trick of downed bikes in the Motloutse river again clearly illustrates that no matter how hard the other manufacturers try to build a better dual purpose bike than the Honda Africa Twin they just can’t get it right. The picture clearly shows that for every GS that goes down two Africa Twin’s goes down!
Therefore: the Honda Africa Twin is twice as good as the F800GeenSand in thick sand.
