Light tent - Inflatable tent poles - How?

The idea is to make inflatable tent poles to replace the standard fibreglass poles on my tent.
Have tried a braided sleeve with a bicycle tube insert but it is too flexible. The pole will warp and the tent collapse.

How do I get some rigidity in (around) the bicycle tube when inflated but still have it foldable when deflated?
Any ideas?
