Luzi Poort - a timeless place

If you're doing a road trip or just on business, the Luzi Poort is a lovely gravel traverse through steep sided sandstone cliffs, tumbling rapids (reputedly full of trout) and colourful local villages, where modcons are non-existent. When travelling between Rhodes and Mount Fletcher, this poort is the final obstacle after Naude's Nek and Pitseng passes, before arriving at Mount Fletcher.

It's not a challenging ride (unless its raining heavily or snowing) but scenically it's a beaut. Wild Dogs members get free access via this link. Enjoy!
