Hi all

I have a 800GS. I love the bike, but the screen is crap. Those who know will tell you that the standard wind protection is just marginally better than that of a naked bike  ::)

So I was gifted a screen by my heavy which came off his previous bike, a 2012 1200 GSA. So I want to fit this.

I have had a quick look and the side holes match, so that's cool, but the holes above the lights don't. So I will have to drill new holes to make it fit.

So my concerns are two-fold:
1) If I start drilling, will it not cause the screen to crack from that point? and
2) Do you think the screen will maintain its structural integrity? I don't want the screen to break and decapitate me while I'm doing 140 on the highway  :imaposer:

What do you clever bikers say?
