My 690 started life a a standard enduro (defcon 5)
it then recieved the omega kit, fairing, extra tanks etc (defcon 4)
But the bike is still far away from a true rally bike and seeing that its by far
my most favourite piece of orange in my garage i decided to give it all the bling
that it deserves
so im taking my 690 to defcon 3 which i hope to complete by year end that
will include a complete a full fairing (see pics attached) and replacing or line the existing
fairing with full carbon fibre
defcon 2 navigation (road book etc) and also other bits and pieces will commence next year and then the
beeeeeg one ..... defcon 1 being engine and suspension race spec upgrades will happen over the next couple
months to prep the bike for amageza !
i set aside 6 figures for this project but want to do most of the work myself, it is afterall the fun part.
officially started with the project last night and looking fwd to the rest !
i replaced the read fender with a white one and also removed the rear light, indicators and mirrors (weight saving :biggrin
o yes the mad max part, huge amount of carbon fibre going onto the bike, side covers and also other couple other things
i got planned for the bike, want it to make it look really unique
Before and after
the carbon fibre side cover im going to fit
before and after
the rear fender and light removal :
