I'm leaving tomorrow on a solo trip for Mozambique and will probably enter on Monday 4/6 or Tuesday 5/6 for three weeks.
I have spoken to numerous companies and all have the same answer:
They dont cover bikes above 200cc!!
Spoke to TIC ,Santam, Travelinsure, Chartis and my med scheme
I saw on the forum somewhere that they used to make an endorsement for a bike bigger than 200cc but apparently they don't do that anymore.
My bike is insured by Santam but I personally need medical cover - i'm thinking emergency evac to joburg or something like that.
