I am not a fundy on tyres but i fitted a Metzler Karoo T on my GS1200 on the rear and did a trip to Leshoto. Man was i disappointed in the tyre. After about 550km of tar to get to Ramabanta the knoblies were already cracking on the sides. We did 1650km in total of which only 500km was off road riding and the tyre is done. I was advised by the fitter that the Karoo T rated excatly the same as the TKC. Well i ran TKC's on the last lot and also did Leshoto and back a trip of 1500km with 400km off road. I then ran a further 3000km doing only tar, so in total in did 4500km on TKC's and only 1650km on Karoo T with maybe another 400km left but will not go further as the cracks look to bad.
Has any one else experianced this and who can i get hold of at the importers to voice my dissatisfaction?
