I just want to share this with you, as I feel it might help the other dogs in their decision on buying tires:
I bought the Roomier secondhand with 15 000 odd km on. At that stage it had Heidenaus front and back.
The real tire was changed to Mitas E-07 at 27 000 odd km. So at least 12 000 km done.
It is now time to change both. I normally change tires when it reaches around 20%. I think this time I am on about 10%.
Rooimier is on 49 000 km.
So for the Mitas E-07 - around 22000 to 23000 km
For the Heidi front, at least 34 000 to 35 000 km!
I think it is fantastic!
Both tires proved to be good on tar, wet tar, and gravel. Fair (my amateur opinion) in mud and sand.
