I have imported a MIVV Suono full carbon silencer for my F800gs. Apart from the fact that this mother weighs only 1.5kg it's sound is out of this world. It took me exactly 10minutes to fit it to my bike.
This is the full carbon model but they are also availble in Titanium at ( can you believe it ) only 1.2kg. The silencer is about 60% the width of the OEM silencer and slightly shorter. The baffle ( db killer ) is easily removed by unclipping an o-ring. I doubt if this will ever be nessasary exept if you wanna give the Harley Davisons a go.
The price came to R 6900 with postage, import duty and vat. I am gonna import a few more of these for my 800gs friends as well as one for my HP2.
