I've used Basecamp to plan a route from Middelburg Tvl to Mosselbay. The route goes off the N9 three quarters from Uniondale towards George and takes me down the Montagu Pass. I do not mind this at all, but I saw a remark on the Basecamp map (I'm using openstreetmaps rsa generic) saying extreme caution and 4x4 only. I do not mind the challenge, but is there any specifics I need to be on the lookout for, any dangerous areas in particular on this route down the pass. Will appreciate positive input please.
For info, I'm on an unknown bike I've recently bought and will ride it down, additional challenge so if not suited for this please advise (though I may not always listen to it).
