Hi there,
I don,'t know how it happens in SA for road assistance. Let me explain:
my son is planning a solo motorbike trip in SA and probably part of Namibia and/ or Bots... during 3 months from july. Since there after 10 years visiting the country by car, mountain bike, bike I've never needed road assistance as I was there for short periods and most of the time with rental cars. And when assistance was necessary, a friend of mine in CT was helpful.
Now I'm thinking at a way to secure my son's trip in case of breakdown. So my questions are:
1- assistance comes only with insurance or any other way to get?
2- bikes are registered on my friend's name so would it be an issue for assistance?
3- does assistance operate outside SA (Nam, Bots, Zim for example)?
4- Any reputable company to suggest?
5- What price can I expect?
