I received a mail today from someone at Execubike, not sure if anyone has more info on this :
It would appear that there is a motorcycle theft syndicate operating in Roodepoort!
The local policing forum has provided these stats:
2 bikes stolen from Begonia Avenue
1 bike stolen from Belladonna Road
2 bikes stolen from Kasuur Street
1 bike stolen from Serissa Avenue
1 bike stolen from Begonia Avenue
1 bike stolen from Gladiolus Street
It appears that the thieves are very brazen and are lifting the bikes over cars to get them out.
If you have any clients in the West Rand of Johannesburg, please ask them to lock up their bikes in a very safe place
