Pretoria - A motorcyclist died when she was hit by a bakkie in Montana, Pretoria, on Saturday, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks said a bakkie turned into the 18-year-old woman's lane and crashed into her.
She was thrown from the motorcycle on impact.
The woman sustained head injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the bakkie was not injured.
Police would investigate the accident, Wicks said
