Please take serious note of this fellow Dogs. When entering into Mthatha (Umtata) from the South.
There are some serious speed bumps which have been placed across the N2. Now good and well as this does slow down the cars which at times would clock 140 + entering town.
Unfortunately the markings on the humps are nil and the warning signs are poor to the extent that i am sure are not according to standard.
Caught un- awares you will be sent into orbit as what happened to a fellow Dog last week. The other problem is if you don't keep a safe following distance behind the vehicle in front of you, you might end up the arse of a Quantum as they break at the last minute.
The other very serious issue is dangerous manner in which some dipshit company is fixing the pot holes on the Transkei side of the Kei Cuttings. The past weekend the holes were cut out 1m x 1m and approx 100mm deep i quess 50 of them and they were just left open. You might have a chance seeing them during the day but at dusk or dark you have a damn good chance of killing yourself.
Please take care, you do not want to end up in hospital here.
