one word ----EPIC----!
it was muddy, it was wet, it was FUN!
11 Dogs met up at Umfula for a quick coffee and a chat.
The clouds were heavy and low but the rain seemed to be holding off.
We set off to find the first section dry and easy going, the first bit of fun came when we rounded a corner to find some black crush stone spread across the path for about a km, it was tricky and needed speed to get through, The nervous smiles at the end of the stretch said it all.
From there it was MUD, all flavors all types, in true Wild Dog fashion the more the mud the bigger the smiles.
By 11ish the rain came and it came hard! and guess what? The smiles only got bigger!
We got to Beestekraal at around 12:15 totally soaked, Spirits were high and we had some food and a lekka chat and then headed for the tar all the way home, We got home at around 3pm.
Thanks to all the dogs for joining the ride, It was great fun.
