Rossdog
Race Dog
I've been looking for a bit of a unicorn. I wanted something that I could use for the following:
- Keep up with my son on his KX65. Not as easy as it used to be. This dude is fearless, and pulls out like a Catholic.
- Use the same bike to commute to work and back once or twice a week to save fuel (An 80km round trip on mostly dirt roads).
- Use it as a lightweight adventure bike to explore the endless dirt roads and tracks all along the southern coast within a day of where I live.
- Use it for the odd funduro.
- I wanted something light and cheeky, and easy to wheelie. Sub-140kg.
- Reliable and cheap to maintain. Large oil capacity. This automatically excluded most of the enduro bikes that can be road registered.
What did I buy? Honda XR400R.
