Looking to form up a group of at least four bikes leaving WH or WB. I am very active on www.advrider.com and some of you folks have been kind enough to extend very helpful introductions and bits of advice.
So far, I am the only American shipping out. I speak limited German and passable French.
Hope to connect with someone local as ride leader with the goal to perhaps look across the river to Angola after a few nights in the Himba area.
Will be geared up for autonomous camping, but it would be great to break it up a couple night's stay in lodges with hot H20.
It looks like I'll be on a fairly light bike, shipping one over to Walvis.
